I know the topic is a bit tired, but perhaps you could embed the video in which you first mention the forum on your YouTube channel (if not that, maybe a new one describing the lack of activity). Or mention and link to it in your video descriptions (the new ones, you have too many videos up to be bothered with modifying all of them.) That would at least cover the problem of unawareness. Also, I would recommend making a mod (maybe two) to keep watch over things. There are a lot of people who only join forums because they think they can become mods or admins, and if it seemed possible, you might get a few more people to stick around after their first couple of visits. Besides, it seems like a bother to have to thumb through threads which technically have nothing to do with the site itself looking for spam, flaming, etc. That's why mods exist, so that the admins don't have to worry about trivial matters such as those.
The main problem remains, as I see it, to be a lack of variety on the part of the users. Nothing you could do would make us human beings any less boring, and therefore unlikely to formulate anything interesting or worthwhile here, heh heh. <.<;
My point is, people here need to be more interesting. Chain message threads are my current quip, not that I mind them, but they aren't very appealing to most new users, and do little more than act as cheap timekillers (again, not necessarily a bad thing) and post count-steroids. I actually think this could be a nice little forum, and would very much like for it to live long, prosper, etc.
