Is it me, or is video gaming in general just getting kind of boring lately? Even with the winter Steam sale on, I can barely find anything that piques my interest. In fact, that last time I recall being excited about gaming was the PS2 era. It all just seems so much of the same anymore. I'd much rather just watch Paul (and others) get through a game than go through the effort myself. I guess that's what happens when you're 44 (yes, you heard me) and have a daughter and a full-time job. Man, I miss my old life.

I can see where you're coming from. I think it's partly because games have been dumbed down to the point where they practically play themselves for you. That's why there aren't too many upcoming games that I'm genuinely hyped for, and I've actually been wanting to dig deeper into retro gaming lately.

One of the only games I've been looking forward to is Elder Scrolls 6, although it probably won't see the light of day until 2016. In what is sure to delight Paul (if true), many of the rumors I've been reading has it focusing on the Argonian race.
