If anyone played the excellent demo P.T. (playable teaser), you're aware of what was the upcoming Konami game Silent Hills. I assume it was going to be a reboot of the Silent Hill series. Well, a bit ago Konami went and fired Hideo Kojima for some reason, ending the game. Being the writer for the Metal Gear series, this also places the future of that in question.
Screw you, Konami. This was one of the few upcoming games that had my interest. I don't know if they retain ownership of the IP or not, but I hope Kojima took it with him and another producer picks it up. With all the hype and love surrounding P.T., I don't see how it can just be allowed to fade away.

That was lame to hear it being cancelled, but I'm not sure what I expected anyway, since Silent Hill games have been kinda "meh" for a while. In my opinion anyway.

I did hear that P.T. had little in common with what would have been the game, but the atmosphere was incredible and that's something that no doubt would have carried over. The fact that it featured Norman Reedus (possibly as the player character) was a cool bonus.
