Virus Bloke 2: The Fall of Microsoft Part of the Virus Bloke Project
Seen the Paul's Gaming of it on YouTube? Or maybe you're just curious?
Virus Bloke 2 is currently the biggest game in the Virus Bloke series, and will probably stay as the biggest. The second Virus Bloke game that we started making, but the third game in the official series (Following Virus Bloke 0, and Paul Smart the Virus Bloke)
As usual, the main character is Paul Smart, the Virus Bloke. Paul returns home from his long journey through time after saving the world (in Paul Smart the Virus Bloke), but there is no time for rest as he discovers his house devoid of almost all furnishings and stuff! Upon looking into this matter, he discovers another problem... Microsoft has a building on his street! This is where it starts, you must find out why they're here, and get rid of them!
We estimate that the game is about 75% done at the moment. Still some big plans to come, and quite a lot of uncertainty too, but we hope to finish it in 2010. (But we also said that about 2009, so... don't get too exited) There was a free playable demo, but unfortunately that is no longer available.
This thread will also be used to let people know what's updated and when, but without spoiling anything, so most of the time it'll be just small things like... "Added to new area", "Added new enemy", "Added 2 new maps". Well, you'll see in the post under this!

Finished world? You mean the whole game is finished? Oops, accidentally clicked Modify instead of Quote (that's why it says "last edit by" thingy under your post there) But nu, just a world. As in, one of the places through a portal.

I can tell your putting a lot of effort into this and that your enjoying it as well. The updates sound great. How about some screens of the new monsters, weapons, etc.? It would make the updates more interesting imho. But if you want to keep it a secret until the release, that's ok with me. Keep up the good work

That's a good idea actually, kinda preview images without giving away too much. I believe I shall do that, thanks for the suggestion, should bring more interest into this thread.

Preview of part of the recently finished world (turned on it's side to fit in the screen better). It's a screenshot of the map inside the edittor, the E icons are events. Uh-oh, look who's making an appearance!

The dopefish! When you enter a battle with the dopefish you should put on the song from Paul's Tunes: "I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, I get eaten by a dopefish...like this, oh yeah, it really sucks." Do it, it would be funny ;D

That would be fun, it would make more sense to put it as the game over music (if you die in the battle), but it's really more trouble than it's worth I think, since you're unlikely to die.

That's a lot of events and that's a good thing. I like it when there are many things to interact with. The Dopefish is win!
