Yes, a hidden level in CB1 - known as "Stormy Ascent". The level was probably cut from the game due to the fact that this game is a mere child's game and the difficulty of this insane level would prevent any further progression attempted by any player. This level could not only possibly be the toughest in the game, but rather, the entire series as well. As with being accessed, there's only one way and that's the Gameshark. Here is the code: (NTSC version only)

Yeah I watched my bro play it today, I'm glad they did cut it out because it's supposed to be a kid's game. Paul, I think if this level wasn't cut then you definetly would give up instead of thinking about it after Sunset Vista

Hah! Amen to that, Rodeschild. Well, once you get used to not stopping right away and not pushing on a direction when you land, you'll pretty much master the game. We all remember Slippery Climb, right? Tough level? Heh, this made that level look like a mere tutorial.

WOW, I never knew this about one of my fav games. Looks like a instant classic too, what a shame it was cut out. Back then games actually had some challenge.

Back then games actually had some challenge. Agreed, to the fullest extent. Play the old crash series, compared to when Sierra had to spray the paint over the classic crash look.
