They have been first, teasing us, but now the information hurts my head! This came out a while ago: Yellow health bar? Child necromorphs? New armor?

Screenshot already? I searched for Dead Space 2 information about a week ago and could only find that it's confirmed as in development. This looks interesting, and the health bar is probably yellow because it's low. I believe it got yellow at some point in the original game too. And the area looks interesting too, I wonder where it could be set. Kinda looks like that room is a church or something. Maybe the/a church of Unitology.

The player controls Isaac Clarke, who has escaped the nightmares of the USG Ishimura.
Dead Space 2 takes place 3 years after the first game on a highly populated space station, dubbed the "Sprawl". The mental illness caused by the marker is permanent and continues to have an effect on Isaac. The Church of Unitology and the government will continue to have a large place in the storyline. The game will begin in a hospital on board the Sprawl. Players will witness the necromorph infection as it begins in comparison to the first game where everything had already decayed. You can find several official stuff and follow the blog here: deadspace.ea.com/For example, this link has pictures of new enemies. That roofguy looks creepy!

That roofguy looks creepy! Ya, especially the sketch at the bottom of that page. Organs hanging out is icky. I also checked out the Dead Space 2 Hub thing, so much information about DS2 already, and needless to say I'm very excited. Not sure what I'm more looking forward to, Doom 4 or Dead Space 2.

at this moment, I'm looking forward to DS2. ID said that there will be no info of Doom 4 until QuakeCon 2010, propably sketch art, gameplay or trailer or something.. DS2 will even be propably first. But Doom 4 will still be the bigger deal.

Yeah, that's really useful. Well, I do suppose any form of relaying any sort of information people may have about DS2 before the game's actual reception, even if it is a short introduction such as this, but at least that model somewhat pertained relevance to the topic.

Those child necromorphs are just necromorphs from a distance. -_-

Doing a double post and also doing it for nothing is pretty risky, you know. I captured that screenshot from here: gameinformer.com/p/deadspace3d.aspxYou can have a look at yourself, are they just "from a distance". Have a look again, before you make your own decisions. -.-

Dead Space was a great game, no doubt (even if it was an Event Horizon rip ), the claustrophobia was what made it, yet the later levels Isaac seemed too powerful, so the necromorphs didn't phase me as much. Dead Space 2 makes you feel superior to them at parts? Open environments? Uh oh. I don't think that'll work well, however, the markers influence sounds awesome. Still looking forward to Kane and Lynch 2 more, but then again, i'm just wierd.
