So when it comes to technical stuff i fail truly and completely. But lately i've had the urge to try doing a playthrough on YouTube. I have a mic, fraps and a harddrive afterall, so seems silly not to give it a whirl.
But at the moment the vid clips are too large to get onto Youtube even if using the advanced file option.
Currently on fraps im recording at 30fps, half-size. The file size is coming out at 3.22GB each.
How can i reduce the file size to a manageable level?
Sorry if this is a total noob question, but we all have to start somewhere right?

I use Windows Movie Maker (should come with all Windows' I think) to cut up the recordings and export them at smaller sizes. It's not a great program, but it gets the job done most of the time.
