i havent been tottaly impressed by this summer's movies. it seems like we havent seen alot of original stuff. its mostly sequels, remakes and prequels
harry potter was pretty good but its just another sequel
public enemies was decent but its not like we havent had enough gangster movies already
star treck was one my favorites but it still isnt something completely new. it falls under the category of remake even though it was pretty innovative
X-men was good but i didnt like it as much as the other ones and once again it is just a prequel, not something new and original
transformers............. do I even have to say anything? part of me died while watching it
district 9, i havent seen. it looks pretty good and original and i heard good reviews. i might see it.
inglorious bastards was great. it still wasnt as epic and visually impressive as some of last summer's movies though
Gi joe i havent seen either but i heard good stuff about it
ice age 3. i havent seen it for a few reasons. i like the first one. the second was iffy and i couldnt picture them getting better, much less matching the first one again. on top of that i havent been to a theater to see a pg movie for about 4 years, im a bit too old for that stuff now. and once again, another fucking sequel
now i might be leaving some out but that shows you how little of an impression these movies have made on me. now i wouldnt say that this summer's movies sucked, i just think they were mediocre overall as far as summer movies go. i am looking forward to the fall's/winter's movies more
Sherlock Holmes looks freaking amazing. i cant wait to see it in theaters
law abiding citizen looks like its going to be the best movie this year, in my opinion.
saw 6.......... its saw. of course it will be good
daybreakers looks amazing too. finally an alternative that disgraceful shitfest known as twilight. this actually has originality and purpose. fuck twilight. this is what vampire movies should be.
avatar, no not the last airbender (that will come later). im kinda partial to this one. it could be great or it could blow. lets hope its the former.
2012, i know people havent liked alot of their past movies but this one looks great. it looks like the factors of the worlds doom are out of our hands in this one so hopefully they want' be all preachy about global warming and shit. i dont think this is just another "day after tomorrow"
