post any of your opinions on games. they can be old or new . there arent really any rules. here are my unenforced rules that i hope you all follow
1) use the ?/10 rating system. it just allows for more accurate reviews than the simple ?/5 system. i think if we are all posting reviews here, we should use the same rating system. 2) try to address at least 4 of these areas in a game: graphics, gameplay, music, storyline (if necessary), difficulty, originality and replay-value. 3) back up what you are saying with examples please. dont just say "i love this game just becuase its awesome" or i hate this game just becuase it sucks" 4) the longer the better. try to make your reviews as detailed and as long as possible. if you dont, it really isnt doing the game justice 5) dont be an extremist please! try to be objective and dont be like the stooges on other sites that give every game they dont absolutely love a 1 out of 10. and also try not to be excessive with the 10 star ratings (though those are more preferred) 6) dont try to make a review of a game that hasnt even been released or a game that you havent actually played yet (thats just unfair)
well thats it. like i said before, i dont have the power to enforce these rules, but they are just basic reviewer etiquette

final fantasy X!!! 10 out of 10(keep in mind some points I am sometimes directing my questions at the audience and sometimes i am directing them at the haters of this game. dont get them confused) FFX is, without a doubt, the greatest final fantasy game ever made. It has been widely underrated by pretentious FF7 fanboys and all around ignorant reviewers. What do they complain about exactly? They complain that the game has too much story….. Wow….. that’s an intelligent argument. You people do know you are playing an RPG right? You do know that you are playing a final fantasy game right? You do know that Final fantasy games are meant to be plot driven right? You do realize that you are making total jackasses out of yourselves right? FFX has the most epic, deeply moving, tragic, engrossing, amazing stories in video game history. It destroys FF7’s obvious, shallow, predictable storyline. The characters in FFX have deep inner conflicts and don’t just bitch about it like cloud does. There is actually character development in FFX and it has a very intriguing plot. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, so you the reader will just going to have to play it and find out. Anyway, complaining about FFX’s constant storyline is absurd for these reasons 1) The creators realized that during your 50+ hours of gameplay, there is an opportunity to tell an intricate and high-depth story. This was the first RPG to feature voiceovers at such a high amount. It was revolutionary for the time and set the ground-work for modern video game story telling. It allowed to the game to convey much more powerful messages and made the characters more like real people. Why wouldn’t they capitalize and make use of this technology and tell an interesting story? They took new technology and used it to create all whole new cinematic gaming experience. But of course, you bias FF7 fanboys don’t care about that. You aren’t grateful for any of the innovations this game made to the franchise. You just want to find something to complain about. 2) The storyline is amazing. It was the only game to ever make me feel emotionally attached to the characters. The story was moving and actually put you in the character’s positions. It envoked more emotion in me than any movie ever has. That’s pretty impressive considering I am a calloused bastard. So, to be ungrateful of the storyline and to complain about it, reveals your own immature and close-minded attitude. 3) Its not like there isn’t gameplay. These haters act like the game is 99% cutscenes when that really is not true. There are enough cutscenes to convey the story line, no more no less. There is a perfect equilibrium between the gameplay and being able to sit back and enjoy the story. 4) FFX like most RPGs centers around its story-line. When you play a final fantasy game, you should be expecting a story. Getting angry because FFX has too much story is like complaining that contra has too much action and not enough storyline. Of course contra doesn’t have much of a story-line! Whats the point of contra? To have fast-paced action and challenging gameplay. Whats the purpose of final fantasy? To put you in an amazing world, to let you experience a memorable adventure and to engross you in a deep storyline. I don’t understand what these people were expecting, coming into this game. Seriously, you FFX haters should not be writing game reviews. Keep your unintelligent, uneducated, bias, lame-brained, half-baked, thoughless, asinine opinions to yourselves. Anyway, enough of that rant. Lets get down to business. Graphics: absolutely amazing. It really showed off the ps2’s capabilities early on in the console’s life. It is what attracted many, many consumers to the console. I consider the move from 2D pre-rendered level graphics, and polygon character models, to 100% pure digital art to be easily as significant a leap as any of FF7’s accomplishments. We still have yet to see a final fantasy game that surpasses FFX graphically, 7 years later (that will change once FFXIII releases). FFXII really couldn’t make much improvements to the graphics, showing once again that FFX was ahead of its time. Now I haven’t even talked about the cutscene graphics. What is there to say? They blew us all away back then and they still do now. They went as far as games should ever need to go to look like real life. here is the intro to show you what this game can do Storyline: like I said before, it is amazing. It has, in my opinion, the best storyline of any video game ever (and beats most movies). FF7 gets put to shame. All games before then get put to shame. All games after then should be put to shame. I don’t want to spoil it, but there are some great plot twists throughout the game, especially at the end. If you haven’t played it and experienced the story, you are missing out. Gameplay: perfect. It reverts back to a style we haven’t seen since FF3. finally we had a real turn based FF game where you could plan out your turns and strategize. Don’t think by eliminating the ATB bar it eliminates the challenge. This is a game of wits. There are some very challenging bosses in this game, trust me. It keeps things simple but diverse. Characters have basic attacking and defending moves but at the same time, a wide variety of special moves that were open for all characters to learn. It also introduced the ability to change armor, weapons and party members in battle. Also, it added certain elements of skill into the battles. When using overdrives (your most powerful attacks) each characters have their own special challenge in order to pull off an effective strike. For example, Auron required pressing button combinations at a fast pace, lulu required quickly rotating the analog stick and wakka required getting the right combinations on an elemental slot machine. These are just a few of the innovations FFX introduced. I would explain the sphere grid, but that would take a while. Trust me, its awesome Music: awesome. It had the highest quality video game music of the time in a technical sense and unlike its successors, FFXI and FFXII, the music is very memorable and it is filled with superb (and underrated I might add) tracks. I would recommend you check out these links www.youtube.com/watch?v=08RYp-uDpPowww.youtube.com/watch?v=dWE0nlhpdq8www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eb-oTYs9ucwww.youtube.com/watch?v=vGIswJBe9PUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=MFnKAPNcqogwww.youtube.com/watch?v=e4iwYgd9N3Ythose are just a few of the great tracks in this game. Replay-ablility: tons, but it will take you a while to complete the game 100%. There are a lot of secret items, hidden bosses, secret aeons and side quests. It will keep you busy for a while but trust me when I say it is totally enjoyable. It gives you a long, satisfying gaming experience without wearing on your patience and becoming jaded. I always found FFXII to be the only FF game that was too long but FFX didn’t have the problem. So overall I give this game a 10 out of 10 (the highest grade I have given any final fantasy game). The only ones that come second are FFVIII and FFVI (which I each gave a 9 out of 10). one thing I should comment on, which some people complained about, is the dubbing. The audio doesn’t perfectly match up with the words at some points but it really isn’t that big of a deal because 1) this was one of the first games to have frequent audio dubbing in cutscenes and in basic game activities. Be f###ing grateful!!!!!! 2) they creators had to translate and re-dub well over 5 hours worth of dialogue in a very short time. I don’t think people realize how much trouble that is. They needed to find hundreds of voice actors, reword numorous parts so that they could be fitted better and they had to edit in all the voices. Once again……. be F###ing grateful!!!!!!!!!!! 3) any translated Japanese game or movie will have some dubbing issues. Just accept it and quit your pathetic whining. 4) the story gets so serious and it draws you in so much that, I promise, you will not notice when a few words are a millisecond off base. Near the end of the game, the world is falling apart for your characters and for spira as a whole. The last thing on your mind will be tiny dubbing errors. Well that’s all for my ranting. This game is perfect inside and out. If you haven’t played it, you are missing out. If you are one of the many FF7 fans who think that by playing FF7 they have seen all Square has to offer, you are TRULY missing out.

Final fantasy XII. 8/10 It is a decent game and a decent final fantasy game. decent....... thats the perfect word to describe this game. hows the gameplay? its decent. hows the graphics? theyre decent. how is the storyline? its decent. how is the difficulty? its decent........ this is one of the most decent games ever made! now, i did enjoy it and it provided an enjoyable gaming experience but it still isnt my favorite FF game. pros: the license grid system was pretty good. it reminded me of the FFX sphere grid only it was a million times easier to complete. the gameplay is innovative and different from the other games. i dont think i like it more than the other games but it was still refreshing to have a different FF experience. also the bazzar market was fun. collecting loot and treasure to trade instead of just finding gil made things alot more interesting but complicated. cons: the storyline wasnt that great. it seemed to be all over he place and at some points it just gets absurdly unorganized. its not a terrible storyline, but it just did not interest me. the main problem with the story is that there are no characters to relate to. frankly there are just too many stories and too many characters to actually pick out a favorite. There really isn't one main character to focus on and so naturally you don't get emotionally attached to any of them. mixed: the play-length is good and bad. how is this possible? well im wondering the same thing. i never thought i would play an RPG that is too long. even with a strategy guide, it took me over 125 hours to complete every side quest, fight all the espers and complete all the hunts and whatnot. it was an enjoyable experience but it just went on and on and on. also the weapons were a double edged sword (no pun intended). it is nice to have complete control over a large variety of weapons but the problem is that anyone can use any weapon. this means there are no iconic weapons for each character like Cloud’s buster sword or Wakka's blitz-ball. Also the music is pretty well done but at the same time not that memorable. I would never think to download any of the songs onto my zune or find myself humming them. overall: this game is a worthy effort. its not exceptional when compared to other games but it is fun and enjoyable and i guess that is the most important thing. I give it a strong 8/10.

Batman Arkham Asylum PC Review Well, actually, I write this review because I got forced by a certain person to do so. No, not you... (the one I mean gets it) Another thing I gotta say is, this is my first english review, be honest about what could've been better or worse, but don't be too hard, I've got feelings too. Story: Well, about this game, there is alot to say, first off, you're batman. Wow, I spoilered the whole game for you, sorry about that! The story is pretty simple, the ones of you, who know the comic strips, will think "pretty lame", but it is not. Basicly, you're starting with a car scene, batman catches the Joker and is driving directly to Arkham Island, where the famous "Arkham Asylum" can be found. You arrive at Arkham (I'm going to use only the word Arkham now, but I mean Arkham Asylum) and after a short cutscene, showing joker getting chained onto a chair, you take your first steps as Batman. The only thing you do for now is walking behind 3 guards and the chained Joker. You encounter serveral characters important to the story (Killer Croc, and some other ones) . You do that until you get to another cutscene showing Commissioner Gorden. Same cutscene, the guards force you to stay with the Commisioner because the patients are getting nervous when Batman is arround. A big mistake, Joker escapes. Batman is forced to break some glass, to chase joker, unfortunatly Joker escapes. That's all I'm saying about the story, the rest is like this : You chase joker, he manages to escape, you chase him again.. and so on. Graphics: The graphics are good, nothing too good, but they are okay for todays standarts. A good thing about this game, it's using PhysX which means, pieces of paper reacting to you when you're walking over them or ripping spider webs. The atmosphere in Arkham Asylum is just great, it feels like you're in the middle of enemys and you can get attacked like all the time. I can't realy say anything more about the graphics, it's just.. normal standarts. Gameplay: If you take some bugs out of it, it's great. You can jump, fly around, kick the snot out of people, be a detectiv, upgrade Batman, etc. You can solve riddles the riddler gives you. Find special objects, investigate and discover riddler statues and alot more. Let's start with the jumping: I played through the game, the jumping itself doesn't seem to have any effect itself when you're standing. Which means, you can't jump over obstacles if you don't jump from a cliff. The jump itself is pretty weird, you don't jump, you kinda roll or better, dodge, even tho you might not be fighting. 2 Flying (I'd say gliding) That's a great part about the game, you jump from a cliff, a building, a tower or any wall you want, and by pressing the jump button again, you can glide. The glide is realy great, because you can reach high or, hard to reach places. Later in the game you get a tool. With that tool, you won't be needing the glide much. 3 Fighting System / Upgrading The fighting system is pretty original. When you're fighting large groups of enemys, you get a combo bar, which shows how many hits you got without stopping. Later in the game, when you're unlocking upgrade skills, you can get better, or let's say special, moves you can use when Batman reaches a certain amount of combos. You can throw enemys and counter attack them. 4 Detectiv Skills That's the most original part about the game. You got a detectiv mode you can switch to. In that special mode you can track people via DNA, Alcohol, Blood, Tabak and so on. I won't spoiler too much because it's a big part of the game. Music: Not much to say, it's great music for a great game, great music... it fits. 'nuff said Difficulty: It's not too hard, some of the detectiv puzzles are tough, sometimes you don't know where to go, but that doesn't matter. The fights are tough...sometimes. Boss fights are not too bad, sometimes you're thinking "Oh god, BIG enemy.. how do I do that" but when you see the actual fight, it's not too hard. Originality and replay value: It's pretty original, detectiv mode, great fighting system and of course... BATMAN. Nothing more to say. The replay value, is good, alot of riddles and alot more I won't say because of spoilers. Overall: This game is worth getting, if you're a fan of batman it's a must have. If you're a fan of action games and you don't care about the story, it's a good game for you. There's nothing more to say except for one thing: I'M BATMAN! Oh and... I rate it 8/10

spyro 3: year of the dragon 10/10People love to bitch. they love to bitch........ and whine........ like pussies. people have complained and complained about this game for years and there is no reason for it. i dont know what people were expecting from this game. it took everything good in the series, beefed it up, added an insane amount of new content and was one of the most innovative sequels in video game history...... but people bitch about it. i should beat down every one of you guys for saying or even thinking something bad about this game. all the arguments i have heard about this game being a let-down have made no sense whatsoever. this game had a bunch of new unique challenges, new playable characters, more levels than the last 2 games combined, all new sparks levels, great music, plenty of amusing cutscenes, cool boss battles, skate boarding sections, arcade shooter sections, a super bonus world, level teleportation, more skill points, more speed-ways, more powerups and you get to beat the shit out of moneybags at the end.............. is that not enough for you people!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!? what does a game have to do to impress you?! whatever. your opinions dont change the fact that this was an amazing game. at least IGN had the decency to give it what it deserves.

ahh this is an interesting one. im not going to say it is a great game, but i will say it is fun as hell. what is this game all about? action, action, action and more action. what are the good aspects about it? gameplay, gameplay, gameplay and....... gameplay. anyway, the main thing i want to address is the voice acting and the story. the story is pretty basic and the plot twists are cheesy. the voice acting and dialogue are so cheesy and so terrible, that they are good in a way. i know that makes no sense but they really are funny. it lifts alot of the tension because you just have to laugh at the cutscenes. for example, at one part the 2 main characters are on top of a moving helicopter and manage not to fall off by running in place on the blades super fast. they stay like this for an entire half of a level even when the helicopter flips over for a second. they also they get shot out of an erupting volcano, ride on torpedoes like surf boards and get shot down to the battlefield inside of a missile from a satellite..... these guys put chuck norris to shame. its like the creators realize that no one is playing this game for the story, so they decide to make it cheesy and stupid and focus on the gameplay. its nice to see game designers with real focus. its a contra game so i assume you already know that it is ball-breakingly hard and you will die again and again and again, but i would still recommend it (if youre a man you can take it). dont bother renting it. its so cheap at stores you might as well purchase it. also in order to get your full use out of it, you will need to master the gameplay, so really you need to own it. a few more things, the graphics and music are pretty good. thats all. i give this game an 8 out of 10

DISSIDIA: FINAL FANTASYI've played this for at least 1-2 hours every day since the day it came out. Often even up to 3-4 hours. I think that just about says it all. Ok here we go, I don't like writing reviews, but Roxas12 person (yes, you) said I should for Dissidia and Persona 4, and actually I want to. Graphics 10/10: The game runs almost perfectly with the great looking graphics. Very colourful, nice effects, lots of variety in arenas and characters, including an alternate costume for each, and different appearance while they're in EX Mode (kinda the Limit Break mode). Now, notice I said "almost perfectly", and yet I gave it 10, not 9. Why? Because, the only problem I've had with the graphics is slight slow-down VERY rarely, but I let it slide because I know it's just because the PSP can't keep up with my SKILL! But seriously, it happens so rarely that it doesn't matter, and it doesn't effect gameplay at all. Audio 9/10: Great music, some of it sends shivers down my spine. Some great remixes of old familiar battle musics, and some battle musics that have been left un-touched. But either way, it's all great and work well in the places they're used. Also, the voice acting is great. It's a little strange at first hearing the voices of some of the previously voice-less characters (mainly Zidane for me, that was a bit strange at first, but suits him I think). All the voice acting in the cut-scenes and in-game are fitting, and there are many lines that each character will say. Only reason I don't give it 10/10 is because a lot of the lines repeat annoyingly at times. For example, doing a certain move will always cause the character to say "Here it comes!" or something, every time you use it. But anyway, not a big problem. Gameplay 9/10: I'll say now, it deserves 10/10, but if you're like me, it will be near impossible to get your head around all the different moves and skills and combos for the 22 different playable characters (as far as I know). I've only really played as 4 of them properly so far, and I'm already confused. But luckily, the most important things stay the same for each character. The chasing, the simple attacks, the big attacks (they're not called "simple" and "big" attacks, that's just my easy way of naming them without going into describing the game mechanics). But all that is just me, I always have trouble with fighting games and all the different moves. Despite all that, the battles are sooo addictive! Imagine the battle scenes in Advent Children, it's like playing those in a game! (Also, I love Advent Children, so shush. No haters please) Storyline 7/10: I haven't really got all that far yet, but it seems to be your basic "Oh no, darkness is taking over the world, must stop it with the power of the crystals!" thing. BUT, Story Mode allows you to play the story of each of the 10 heroes, so they each have their own little story to follow, along with the main one! (other stories open up as you complete the individual character stories). Lifespan 10/10: My god... Addictive gameplay, countless things to unlock, get friend cards to play against people online, 20+ characters each with their own customizable equipment, abilities, accesories, and summons. Hundreds of accomplishments to achieve (basically achievements). I can't think of much more they could have added, there's just SO much to do and it's SO fun to play. I'm not sure how many hours I've played so far because I'm in the middle of a story at the moment, so I can't find out I don't think, but it's been 30+ hours for sure, and I've only played as 4 characters really. Haven't even touched the other 16+ yet! I imagine the battles may get boring/repetitive for some people, either quickly or eventually depending on the person, but each character has their own abilities which are gained over time (you gain AP from battles, like in FF9, so you can master abilities and gain more!). So you'll have many abilities to switch around to play with, to see which ones suit you best with each character. Overall 10/10: Although it's a very different Final Fantasy game, it works so well (as long as you like fighting games). The battle system actually feels very much like Kingdom Hearts, I think, though with a lot more freedom (you can literally stay in the air for the entire battle if you want, just keep dodge-jumping, or chasing). I'm not a fan of fighting games, and I still love this game in more ways than I can describe. So much freedom, so much fun, so much customization, so many characters, so much good music, ARGAMUFFIN! I don't remember the last time I was so happy I bought a game. I had doubts, because FF games lately, although I love/like them all, haven't been AMAZING lately. But I'm glad I bought this for full price when it came out. Seriously one of the best spin-off titles for any game series ever, in my opinion. And that ends my review. There's probably more I want to say, but that's all I can think of right now.

SERIOUS SAM - THE SECOND ENCOUNTERMy opinions on the gameThere isn't much I can say about this game but honestly it was better than the first game, probably due to longer levels, more enemies, more weapons and the fact that you fight more bosses and that always makes games more interesting and fun . Although most of the things you see in the first game appear in this one aswell, Croteam certainly made a good job, those are my opinions. Graphics: (8/10)This game was powered by the same engine they used for the first game (Serious Engine) so most of the graphics stay the same to be honest, they still do look a bit cartoony but they made a good job of the textures and modelling, so an 8/10 would be reasonable enough. Yes, in this game some models sink through the map still but that doesn't automatically make the game crappy now does it? It's just one mistake damnit! Audio: (10/10)Even though the majority of the sounds are from the first game, the new ones make the audio go from 9/10 to 10/10 (I rated the audio for the first game 9/10). The music was brilliant, especially the gothic levels and babylonian levels, it really does make it look like your in one of the most facinating ancient areas of the world that you wouldn't see today (eg. Tower of Babel doesn't exist anymore in reality, at least I think it doesn't). Boss battle music tracks were excellent too, as that really does make the battle more interesting and fun. Gameplay: (10/10)Obviously, if I've said this game has more weapons and enemies, that would automatically make the game even more fun, so a well expected 10/10 boldly steps in . Mostly all the gameplay footage you will see in this game will be a lot similar to the first game, but it is a little different as the enemies can sometimes swerve from side to side which wouldn't happen in the first game. The game is a little harder since the levels take longer to finish, and there are a lot of enemies in each level since they are all pretty large. Level Design: (10/10)These incredibly facinating ancient areas of the world are fantastically mapped with the Serious Editor (the mapping program), so here comes another 10/10. Weapons and enemies are in perfect positions at all times, ambient and environment sounds are placed in perfect positions, cutscenes are designed well too. OVERALL RATING: 10/10Congratulations Croteam, you have been given a Gold Award for making an almost perfect game! I salute you. End of review.

I really had to do one. And as a result, I decided to do Quake 4. ID Software and Raven created Quake 4 with Doom 3 engine. What a big surprise. And when being honest, this game is really a sequel to Quake II. Yes, the second one. When they were still just "tests before Quake 3 that was supposed to be the hit". Well, of course it was a big deal, because many other games like Wolfenstein ET used its engine. But where did we leave our story? Well, the big, evil, crappy-graphic-Makron has been defeated... But the war ain't over. The Makron has been built again, and you (with your squad) have crash-landed on Stroggos. Holy god. The first level starts with an annoying cutscene. Your character, Matthew Kane, starts to wake up in the middle of a war in a first-person view. Then he faints again. Wakes up. Faints again. Wakes up. And then BOO! He takes the gun and you're ready to play. As soon as you get inside, the Stroggs start to appear. Eeks! And then, the weapons. Wait what? You have no melee? Man, that's wasted. But yeah, the starting weapon, Blaster shoots very fastly and never runs out of ammo. When trigger holded and released, it shoots a surprisily POWERFUL blast. During many situations of the game, I took out a lot of Stroggs using only the Blasters hold-blast. Very good! And then, the Machine Gun. What's the deal with it? It runs out of ammo very easily, almost like one bullet would really abate 2 from the ammo counter. I mostly use the damn thing as a flashlight, because the F-Key brings it up and it's faster than Blasters flashlight. The next one is the Shotgun, really original video-game weapon. This one is just very annoying. It's possible to waste every damn shell on the wall even when your just 2 meters away from the Strogg and pointing straight in the middle of it. Only a good gun when there's a melee foe... And just one of them. Then, the Hyperblaster. Well, I don't see any damage-difference with the Nailgun either. Machine Gun, Nailgun, Hyperblaster. For me, the same thing. Nailgun just surprised me with LIGHTBALLS instead of NAILS. What?? Then there's of course other interesting weapons, like very, very weak Grenade Launcher and even very weak Rocket Launcher (It takes 5-6 damn rockets to kill one of those fast electric guys!). And of course, the Railgun. That damn thing hits an enemy like a blind man hits a fly with a needle. (But when it does, it's a load of death). The Lightning Cannon (or whatever) is my favourite. I just hate how shy it is. (It's still much more weaker than i thought when I picked it up!) And then, the black-hole shooting Dark Matter Gun. A more powerful version of R&C:s Rift Inducer. And no, it doesn't contain a locked Nibbler in it. (Very funny, ha ha). And what about the enemies? Well, I was too lazy to learn the names of the enemies and I didn't even nickname them, but there was a lot of non-needed enemies and very not-much enemies at all. It means, that nearly every enemy SUCKED. I mean, those flying machine-gun fatties that appeared when you were protecting Strauss? They like, disappear in the air when they die. I said "Holy mother of h**l" and thought it fastly strafed in the corner. Lol. The one I already called a fast electric guy appeared just right in the situations when I had my health and ammutinion low. When I managed to escape one of them (they run as fast as you), it killed me with a damn railgun-blast or something. Aaaaarrghhhghgh! There's nothing much more to say about the enemies. There's only much more annoying and difficult enemies when you least want them. I would have killed myself without the Quicksave. I want to marry the Quicksave. But not in the situation when I saved right when that elevator was going down, I had 4 hp and a crowd of Stroggs were waiting for me. (The latest save before that was in the start of the level and I was just finishing) The Makron appeared once and f***ed me up. I didn't have an idea what to do with him. When I died a few times to his shock beam, I just cursed, pressed Esc and pressed the quicksave that was made just before he opens the door. After 10 times, I realised that the level is finished after you get killed by the beam. There wasn't really much music. And if there was, I didn't really have time to listen. The difficulty is a little too hard even on Normal. (Which I selected) Otherwise, there's a lot of good things about the game. My PC is just way too crappy to run the Hovertank-levels and Walker-levels perfectly (And had a few sky glitches, and that's why I'm not commenting about the graphics). So this isn't just all negative. I would give this game a 7/10 . Pretty good, but I still like Doom 3 more, just like Paul.

Title: Doom 64Publisher: Midway GamesDeveloper: Midway GamesDoom 64 for the Nintendo 64 has had two main perspectives throughout society. It is argued to be one of the very worst games in the series and yet some say it is the best. I'm going for the people who say it's one of the best. It's my favorite of the series. Even considering the fact that this game's data is placed within the limited storage of a cartridge, they did a pretty great job on it. The redesigned weapon and monster sprites were pretty good. It still puts up quite a challenge for Doom fans everywhere. Graphics are pretty splendid considering it's running on the Nintendo 64. Enemies from Doom 1 and 2 are placed in the game, as well as two new ones - Mother Demon and the Nightmare Imp. Though some say they don't like it because it's "too dark", but there is, however, a brightness control. For those who are unable to have access to a Nintendo 64, a special remake of the game - Doom 64: The Absolution - is available on download at the Doom Depot, completed after years of hard work and created for those who lack a Nintendo 64 and what they're missing out on. Graphics - 5/5 Challenge - 5/5 Sound - 4/5 Physics - 5/5 My Rating: 4.5/5
